*Proper labelling means BOTH an ingredient list AND a guaranteed analysis on the container, promotional materials AND the website so you know exactly what you are buying for your horse. It was very difficult to do this comparison table because MOST products are not labelled and would not give me the formulas even when I phoned the company!
** Fillers means added "proteins" such as ground alfalfa, wheat mill run, ground corn, bone meal (now illegal but calcium substitutes),brans etc (anything processed to fill up a bag!) Do you really want to buy processed hay in a container??
